Privacy policy

A Kirilyuk LLC runs Rastafari. This page explains what personal data we use and why. Contact for privacy questions: hello@voicethere.com.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, and your sign-in method (for example Google).
- Bookings: your name, email and phone number (both are required to book), the service and time, and the deposit status. If you ask an artist for an appointment, we keep your request text too.
- Artist profiles: studio details, photos, prices and the Stripe account used for payouts.
- Reviews: your name, email (to confirm the review) and text.
- Courses: which courses you bought.
- Usage: simple events such as page views and where visitors came from, to improve the site.
Why we use it
- To run the service: sign-in, bookings, reviews, courses and payments.
- To pay artists their share and to refund deposits.
- To send you messages about your booking by email: confirmation, a reminder before the visit, and notices when a booking is cancelled or moved. Your phone number is for the artist to reach you and for reminders by phone or messenger if we offer them; we will tell you before we start.
- To keep the site safe and to understand how it is used.
Who handles it for us
- Stripe processes card payments and artist payouts, and checks the identity of artists. We never see your card number or an artist's identity documents.
- Supabase stores our database.
- Our email provider sends the booking messages above. It receives your email address and the message text.
- Google for sign-in, maps and place data.
- YouTube plays course and free lesson videos. We use the privacy-enhanced player, but YouTube can still set its own cookies when you press play.
Who sees what
An artist sees the name and contact you gave when you booked with them. Other clients never see your details. Reviews show your name next to your text. The artist also sees your booking history with them, and can keep private notes about you in their client list. These notes are visible only to that artist, not to you or to other artists.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, and to stop using it for a purpose, by writing to hello@voicethere.com. We keep payment and booking records as long as the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We always use a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and your browser stores your cookie choice. Only after you press "Accept all" in the cookie banner do we count visits and where visitors came from, and play YouTube videos without asking each time. With "Essential only" neither happens, and a YouTube video loads only if you press play on it. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Stripe and YouTube may set their own cookies on their pages.
